The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – The third series of Jatra has begun. Titled ‘Mahajatra’, the team has commenced shooting in a grand set built at Budhanilkantha.
A shubha muhurat puja was done at Bijayshwori Mandir at Shova Bhagawati prior the shoot. Most casts and crew members were present at the hawan puja. 45 days long shoot schedule has been prepared and the shoot will take place in Kathmandu and Janakpur.
Written and directed by Pradip Bhattarai, ‘Mahajatra’ will have multiple incidences leading to the havoc. The tagline of the cinema is- Truth prevails, Lies distort. Director Bhattarai said- Jatra is a havoc but also is a celebration. All these are included in the cinema. ‘Mahajatra’ will have something unpredictable.
Actors Hari Bansha Acharya and Bipin Karki expressed their excitement. The other casts include Rabindra Singh Baniya, Rabindra Jha, Barsha Raut, Arjun Jung Shahi, Prakash Ghimire, Raja Ram Poudel, Prabin Khatiwada, Divyadev, Suman Karki, Shishir Bangdel, Gaumaya Gurung, Arvin Khadka.
A dream for a prosperous life, risky opportunities and obstacles that come on the way; these incidences will be presented in an entertaining way in the cinema. Produced under the banner of Shatkon Arts, the cinema is produced by Max Dipesh Khatri. Jit Bahadur Ruwali as Associate director, Puroshottam Pradhan as DOP, Kumar Maharjan in action, Kabi Raj Gahatraj as choreographer and Ashish Aviral is assigned in music.
Last two series had won audiences’ hearts and the third series is also much awaited already. ‘Mahajatra’ targets its release on Chaitra 9.
