‘Friends’ Star Matthew Perry passed away at 54

The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – Matthew Perry was found dead at his home in Los Angeles. He was 54.

According to the LAPD, a call was received at 4:07 PM for a male in his 50’s who was unresponsive. Sources say there were no drugs found and there is no foul play involved. According to multiple reports- police found the actor dead in a jacuzzi at home in LA. They say it appears he drowned.

It is devastating news as the beloved ‘Friends’ star is no more with us. Perry was best known for playing Chandler Bing on the hit ensemble sitcom, which ran from 1994 to 2004. His character was a fan fave and the lines have been recreated and spoofed by fans all over the world.

He also starred in the TV series ‘Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip’ and was the co-creator and star of the sitcom ‘Mr. Sunshine’. His cinema career included ‘Fools Rush In’, ‘Almost Heroes’ and ’17 again’.
