The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – Director Nischal Basnet has returned to the captaincy after six years with ‘Dimag Kharab’. His debut directorial ‘Loot’ had created history, will ‘Dimag Kharab’ live up to the expectations! Only time will tell.

For now, the ‘Dimag Kharab’ team has released its first lyrical song Muluk Birami on the occasion of Constitution Day. Written, sung and composed by Jayan J Waiba, the song features snaps and some scenes from the cinema.

Is it a crime to think of doing something in my own country! The song features the dark history of corruption and the victimized people because of it. The nation is sick as the ones in power are misusing it and the people aren’t doing anything about it. The song overall gives a glimpse on what the cinema is about.

Produced under the banner of Cinema Arts Pvt. Ltd. and Black Horse Pictures Pvt. Ltd. ‘Dimag Kharab’ features Khagendra Lamichhane, Dayahang Rai, Arpan Thapa, Swastima Khadka, Bijay Baral, Suman Karki, Puskar Gurung, Maotse Gurung, Rama Thapaliya in pivotal roles.

The cinema is produced by Raunak Bikram Kandel with Suraj Bam Thakuri as Executive Producer. The team comprises of Susan Prajapati as cinematographer, Nimesh Shrestha as editor, Rajkumar Uprety in action and Rohit Shakya as background scorer.

Director Basnet is finally all set to present his directorial. He took a backseat for a long time looking for the right script. He is known to portray the realistic society in his cinemas. He has compiled the political influence on social structure of the population under poverty this time as well. The cinema will hit the theatres on Kartik 24.
