The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Pashupati Prasad is one of the most acclaimed cinemas in Nepali cine history. It was equally loved by the audiences and critics. Now the latest sensation has been created by the poster release of Pashupati Prasad 2: Bhashme Don.
Bhashme Don is one of the most iconic characters that stayed with the audiences even after years. In the cinema Pashupati Prasad, Bhashme Don wasn’t a protagonist, yet the persona created and played by Bipin Karki was conspicuous. Interestingly, the sequel will have the character Bhashme Don as the protagonist and will unfold his story. His side of goodness and the ugly truth of the society in turning naïve Bhashma to don can be expected. As per the production team, after the demise of Pashupati Prasad, the internal war between Bhasme Don’s true identity and self-respect and the struggle after one special character enters his life will be portrayed in the sequel.
Director Deependra K. Khanal will don the captaincy for part two as well. Three posters of the cinema were released. The lead characters of the cinema Bipin Karki, Saugat Malla, Rabindra Singh Baniya, Maotse Gurung, Prakash Ghimire, Lokendra Lekhak are given space in the poster. The character looks of the actors in the poster is eye-catching as actor Swastima Khadka is presented as Durga Mata and Saugat Malla got angry looks.
Actor duo Khagendra Lamichhane and Barsha Siwakoti will also have special appearances in the sequel. Actors Aanchal Sharma and Nischal Khadka will also be featured in a song. Actors Mishri Thapa, Sajan Thapa Magar, Bibhu Poudel, Prakash Dahal will be seen in pivotal roles.
The sequel is written by Khagendra Lamichhane who is also producing the cinema. He claims ‘Pashupati Prasad 2’ to be the sequel in true sense. The cinema resumes from where the first part ended. Produced under the banner of Tuki Arts, the cinema will have Niraj Kandel as DOP, Dirgha Khadka as editor with Krishna Bhardwaj and Subash Bhushal’s music.
‘Pashupati Prasad 2: Bhashme Don’ will release this Dashain.
