The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- It came as a shock to everyone when actor Sushmita Sen talked about suffering from a heart attack and undergoing angioplasty in March this year.

Actor Sushmita Sen opened up about her health for the first time in an interview. She was busy shooting for the third season of Aarya, when she suffered from a heart attack. She underwent angioplasty and had a stent placed in her heart. She resumed work after the treatment and completed the shooting of the web series.

The attack has made her more responsible. She says she values life more now and feels very lucky to be on the other side. Her health condition has made her look at life in a new perspective and is more careful now. When life gives a second chance for living, one tries to live up to it.

On the work front, the teaser of her upcoming project ‘Taali’ has been unveiled. She will be seen essaying the role of transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant. She says she has played the character with honesty and the cinema is not merely a performance but a tribute to the whole community. The cinema streams on OTT platform from August 15.
