The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Actor Saruk Tamrakar’s death news comes as a shock. The 31 years-old actor has hung himself at his Ratopul residence. His family has confirmed the news of his death.
He was working on a cinema titled ‘Hashtag Maya’. He was busy shooting for it till Thursday morning. He had shown no abnormal signs during the shoot and had left the set in a nice mood. He had family functions to attend on Thursday evening and told his parents to go saying he will come a bit later. When there was no one at home, he took his life by hanging himself. As per the production manager of the cinema ‘Hashtag Maya’ , Saruk was doing well on the sets.
Only son of his parents, Saruk had completed an acting course from India and debuted in Nepali cinemas from Dayaram Dahal directed ‘Rani’. He has been part of cinemas like ‘Intu Mintu Londonma’ and ‘Meri Mamu’. He has short films to his credit.
A talented actor, gentle soul; Saruk Tamrakar was a skilled performer and was an aspiring talent. His untimely demise is a loss for the cine sector.
