The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- ‘Prakash’ team has announced a competition on writing a poem on teacher’s importance. The team has also declared 1 lakh prize to the winner.
‘Prakash’ is a cinema about a young man’s struggle to be a teacher and all the political intervention that happens when recruiting a government school teacher. Since the story is set on being a teacher, ‘Prakash’ team has announced a competition on writing a poem on teacher’s importance. The team has also announced 1 lakh prize to the winner.
As per the information provided by producer Mahendra Adhikari all school and college students upto plus 2 level from the age group 12-18 can participate in the competition. The poem should be sent in a video format. The video can be shot in any camera or mobile phone and the length of the video must be 1-1:30 minutes. The self-made videos must be mailed to [email protected].
The first prize is 1 lakh and second prize is 50 thousand. Both Nepali and English medium poems are eligible for the competition. The competition starts from Shrawan 20 and ends on Bhadra 20.

The cinema will be released on Bhadra 10 (August 26, 2022).
