The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- After directing feature cinemas Soongava, Fanko, Bato Muniko Ful 2; Director Subarna Thapa has tried his hands on something different with ‘The Secrets of Radha’. The cinema will be shown in theatres on Bhadra 10/August 26.

The release date of ‘The Secrets of Radha’ has been out. The cinema will be shown in theatres on Bhadra 10/August 26. Directed by Subarna Thapa, Shristi Shrestha can be seen as the protagonist in the cinema. Initially, the release date was announced to be Bhadra 24, but the makers have preponed the date to Bhadra 10.

After directing feature cinemas Soongava, Fanko, Bato Muniko Ful 2, Director Subarna Thapa has tried his hands on something different with ‘The Secrets of Radha’. This time he is trying to tell a story of a home, his home. He started writing the story of ‘Radha’ on November 14, 2014. After completing the script of this women centered cinema, he participated in Busan International Film Festival and received funding.

As per the director, ‘The Secrets of Radha’ is a Nepali cinema which speaks about the numerous struggles a woman has to bear in a Nepali society. Radha has faith in love; trust in relation but the destiny that brings obstacles in her life is the secrets of Radha. Radha is mythical, traditional yet the character the cinema projects is modern who knows the deal of the society.

‘The Secrets of Radha’ stars Shristi Shrestha, Khagendra Lamichhane, Saugat Malla, Menuka Pradhan, Pashupati Rai, Divyadev Panta, Pukar Gurung in pivotal roles.
