The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – Cinema halls in Nepal were opened from 12th of October. The audiences were able to watch few Hollywood and Nepali cinemas. But those movies were not of much help to bring back the audiences in the movie halls.
Rohit Shetty directed cinema Sooryavanshi is also getting released in Nepal. Not only in India but the halls owners and distributers in Nepal are in the hope that the audiences will be back to cinema halls soon. Due to the pandemic the cinema sector was hit very badly. In the hope of bringing back audiences to cinema halls, the distributers has brought the movie for Nepal release in a huge amount. Rumors are that the movie’s Nepal release rights was bought for 1 crore 30 lakhs rupees.
Therefore, Sooryavnashi has got the highest number of shows since the pandemic started.
The cinema has also received huge number of shows in multiplex halls. QFX has allotted 58 shows whereas One Cinemas has given 6 and BIg Movies has given 11 shows.
The movie features Ajay Devgan, Katrina Kaif and Ranvir Singh in the lead.
