‘There are movie lovers who prefers watching movies in cinema halls than OTT and this is the reason the movie is being brought in Nepal for release in cinema halls’, said Manoj Rathi who will be distributing the movie in Nepal.
According to online web portal Ekagaj , the makers of the movie asked for 80 lakhs Indian rupees for the movie rights in Nepal. But currently there are very few audiences in cinema halls.
Though the distributors spoke with the producer of the movie about the current situation of cinema halls in Nepal and such a huge amount is not possible to collect, the makers of the movie did not agree. Therefore, the movie right has been sold in around the same huge amount. 80 lakhs Indian rupees converted to Nepali currency is 1 crore and 3 lakhs rupees.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, the movie features Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgan and Ranbir Singh along with Akshay Kumar and is set to hit screens from 5th of November.
