The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – Nepal Government has announced to honour those involved in cinema and music industry. The honour will be given on the occasion of constitution day.
The list includes from the greatest singer of all time Narayan Gopal to Bisnu Majhi. The list was circulated on Sunday by the government.
Gauri Malla, Ramesh Budathoki, Hemant Budathoki and Deepashee Niraula will be honoured from the cine industry. The government has decided to honour Narayan Gopal with ‘third highest honour mahaujjwal rastradeep’ whereas singer Bhaktaraj Acharya, lyricist Kaliprasad Rijal and late singer Ranudevi Adhikari will be honoured with ‘Subrabal Jansevashri’. Actress Gauri Malla will also be honoured with the same. On the other hand, Sambhujit Baskota will be honoured with ‘kritimaye rastradeep’.
Similarly, Nepal government also has decided to honour Ramesh Budathoki, Hemant Budathoki, Deepashree Niraula, Prakash Ghimire and Nawal Khadka will be honoured with ‘prabal janasewashree’. For music sector, the same award will be honoured to folk singer Chandraprasad Sharma, Kulendra Biswokarma, Bishnu Majhi and Kastup Panta.
Other personality from the music industry who will be receiving ‘janasewashree’ honour includes Hemant Sharma, Prakash Saput, Nawinkumar Paudel and Radhika Hamal whereas actor star actor Anmol Kc and Keki Adhikari will also be honoured with the same. Comedian Kamal Gaule and Shyamsundar Rijal, director Milan Chams, producer Rajkumar Rai, dancer Teriya Magar will also be the ones getting honoured.
