The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – A road trip film to e directed by Farhan Akhtar has been announced. Titled JE LE ZARAA, the film will feature Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.
We have heard fans of Bollywood talking about road trip films not been released since Dil Chata Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and now here we wait for Je Le Zaraa. The movie also is the first collaboration between the three stars.
The announcement was also made as Excel Entertainment celebrates 20 years. Actor Farhan is now in director’s chair for a female road trip story which has surely made all his fans happy. He shared the news on his Instagram account writing, ‘Thrilled to announce my next film as director and what better day than 20 years of Dil Chahta Hai to do it. #JeeLeZaraa with @priyankachopra @katrinakaif @aliaabhatt will commence filming in 2022 and I cannot wait to get this show on the road.’
The film has been written by Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar and Reema Kagti and is scheduled to release on 2023.
