The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- ‘Gopi’ director Dipendra Lama is soaking in the positive response and applause of his cinema and well why shouldn’t he. The story of director’s upcoming cinema touched the hearts of many with its relatable content.
Interacting in a press meet organized at capital today, the star casts of the cinema along with director and and script writer shared their experiences and thought on the cinema.
Gopi which features Bipin Karki, Barsha Raut and Surakshya Panta among others went on to become one of the anticipated cinema of the year. The story of the cinema revolves around a livestock farmer who loves his profession more than anything and afterwards faces lots of adversities due to it.
In an recent media interaction,director Dipendra Lama, who directed cinema like ‘Ghaampani’, said that directing Gopi wasn’t as easy as reviewing cinemas being a film journalist as well. The filmmaker said that the aim for Gopi is to “make something that was worth the viewers time”. He further added that he would appreciate if the flaws and weakness of his cinemas are pointed and spoken.
‘Gopi’ which is written by Samipya Raj Timalsina is slated to release in 1st of February.
