The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – Senior actor Bhim Bahadur Thapa has passed away. At the age of 92 years, he died last night reportedly due to chest and lungs problems.
Thapa acted in many tele-serials and radio dramas but became popular from Deepak-Deepa’s comedy serial ‘Tito Satya’. Playing a role of father of actress/director Deepa Shree in ‘Tito Satya’, he is also a ‘Dharma Baa’ for Deepa. He was servicing as Nepal Army before introducing himself in acting industry.
Deepa is returning to Kathmandu with hold over of ‘Chakka Panja 3’ shoot after listening the news of her ‘Dharma Baa’ death. The dead body was taken to Kathmandu Pragya Pratisthan for paying last tribute. His last rituals are taking place at Pashupati Aryaghat after 10 am on Wednesday.
Deepa, and his well-wishers and cine artists are pouring their condolences on social media.
