The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Actor Khagendra Lamichhane debuted with ‘Badhshala’ and has already made a distinctive name in cinema industry.
Khagendra known as Nepali Aamir Khan is equally active in writing. He already had proved himself in both categories. His fifth cinema venture ”Damaru Ko Dandibiyo’ is going on theater floor from Baisakh 21.
Everyone is looking forward for cinema which received an overwhelming response from viewers with trailer launched. Khagendra marking a peculiar identification from each cinema is playing a character of ‘Damaru’ this time. He is optimistic for bagging a new wings of identification from ‘Damaru’ character as his last cinema’s character expressly, Tulke from ‘Talakjung VS Tulke’ , Pashupati from ‘Pashupati Prasad’ and Dhanapati from ‘Dhanapati’.
Khagendra says the cinema has raised a story of a former national dandibiyo player. Cinema will not only remind about extincting game dandibiyo, but also will be documentation for next generation. According him, they didn’t produce the cinema with aim of dandibiyo revolution. It will convey the message of its importance, worldwide regulations along with entertainment. Together with, next generation will gain a documentary cinema to know about this game.
He added none of his written and played cinema had given disappointment for audience and himself. Further he says that he acknowledges the interest of audience for the cinema he writes and plays, and accordingly converts to screenplay. If the cinema written by him doesn’t satisfy himself, he will not be selling the script for production. So, he is very optimistic with this cinema.
Anup Baral, Menuka Pradhan, Budhhi Tamang, Ankeet Khadka, Aashant Sharma, Laxmi Bardewa, Mishri Thapa, Ingi Hopo Koinch Sunuwar and Namita Ghising are also the prominent character of the cinema with Khagendra.
Chhetan Gurung directorial cinema is under the banner of Sambridhi Entertainment. Binod Gurung and Norbu Tshering Ghale have jointly produced it.
