The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Irrfan Khan starrer ‘Hindi Medium’ started with a big bang record breaking opening collection in China.
Cinema released on Wednesday, April 4 has beat ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ of Salman Khan. According to Bollywood trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, it earned $3.39 million (33.06 crore Indian Rupees), while Salman starrer ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s first earning was $2.24 million (14.61 crore). In its second day, earned a whopping $6.28 million (40.81) crore witnessing 83.63% growth.
The second day collection of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ was $3.11 million, which was slight less than first day income of ‘Hindi Medium’. Cinema earned around 70 crore in Indian Box Office and also lots of compliments from critics.
It was produce under the minimal budget of 22 crore. Now, its time to watch whether ‘Hindi Medium’ will surpass the lifetime collection of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ in Chinese Box Office or not. ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has already earned 295.32 crore till April 1.
Saket Choudhary directorial Hindi Medium also stars Saba Qamar in lead role. It won the Best Film Award in Filmfare Award of the year.
