The opening collection of the cinema was much higher that the expectations of trade experts. Surprisingly, action thriller cinema ‘Baaghi 2’ beat the first-day box office collection of this year’s most successful Bollywood cinema ‘Padmaavat’ marking the opening of Rs 25.10 crore.
Cinema was expected to collect Rs 12 to 15 crore on its opening day. Impressively, it has made a great start. Remember; the first-day collection of ‘Padmaavat’ was 24 crore including 5 crore paid preview.
‘Baaghi 2’ reportedly beats the collection records of Akshya Kumar, Ajaya Devgan, Ranveer, Deepika, and Shahid’s cinema of earlier 3 months on 2018. Following, ‘Baaghi 2’ enjoyed 20.40 crore business in second day. Looking at the recent performance, cinema might secure 60 crore budget investment inside the weekend. The total collection of cinema has reached to 45.50 crore.
Ahmed Khan directed cinema is managing to interest moviegoers. ‘Baaghi 2’ also features Disha Patani, Manoj Bajpayee, Prateik Babbar,and Randeep Hooda in lead role, while Jacqueline Fernandez in a cameo appearance in the remake of Madhuri Dixit’s hit number ‘Ek Do Teen’.
