Stephanie del Valle of Puerto Rico clinched Miss World 2016 on Sunday, edging out runners-up from the Dominican Republic and Indonesia, and beauties from around the world.

The 19-year-old beauty, who is the second Miss World to hail from Puerto Rico, beat 116 contestants from all over the world to win the title.

She appeared genuinely surprised as it dawned on her that she had won the 66th title of the beauty pageant.
She had previously won the country’s national beauty pageant Miss Mundo de Puerto Rico 2016.

The 5′ 8″ stunner said in her entry video to the pageant it was an “honour and a great responsibility” to represent her country in the contest.

Valle hopes to get into the entertainment industry

Yaritza Miguelina Reyes Ramirez, of the Dominican Republic, was declared First Runner Up while Natasha Mannuela, from Indonesia, announced Second Runner Up.
