From now onwards to produce a new cinema, Producer Association’s membership is must. It also implies for distributing any Nepali cinema. At a press meet organized on Monday, Producer Association’s chairman Rajkumar Rai and Film Association’s chairman Nakim Udhin signed the contract paper.

The respective association will ban the movie if it has not been registered under the association. Some rules and regulations have been made which will be implemented from December 14th, 2014. All these agreements was made at the presence of Film Development Board’s member Suresh Darpan Pokhrel.

After the agreement, association’s chairman Rajkumar Rai said, ‘The rules and regulations have not been followed so in order to make it more professional the following steps were taken.’

Both association will jointly publish cinema release calendar and bring it into action from coming month.
