The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Not just the netizens, even the well-known names behind the iconic track ‘Chatta Rumal’, are unhappy with its recreation starring Salin Man Baniya, Salon Basnet and Mallika Mahat for filmmaker Keshab Bhattarai’s ‘Yatra.’

One of the popular and talented singer of the generation Melina Rai, have expressed her displeasure over the track, while the makers of the cinema justified it as paying homage to the original and passing a gem to the current generation.

This is what the singer has to say about the remake version of the song which released on web on Tuesday:

‘Chatta Rumal’ is the remake of the song which earlier featured legendary actors Shree Krishna Shrestha and Niruta Singh from the cinema ‘Aafno Manche’.
