The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Just over a week is left for 2074 year to end. This year was full of great hit songs, which left their exemplary mark in market. Nevertheless, anyone can easily know the hit rank of any song from YouTube search. More than 3 dozen songs from released cinema are hit in the year in order of over 2 million YouTube views and buzz among audience head.

However, here we are only with top 11 hit songs, despite of numbers of hit songs with over 2 million views of the year.

1) Kutuma Kutu

Who wouldn’t have listened this song? Peppy and jolly lines along with music penned by Rajanraj Siwakoti is the first and only one Nepali song to earn 5 crore views. Song from ‘Dui Rupaiyan’ cinema already got over 5 crore 45 lakh views.

Sung by Rajan Raj Shiwakoti, Melina Rai and Rajan Ishan incorporate folk elements, which is happily engaging to ears and hearts. Asif Shah, Nischal Basnet, Buddhi Tamang and Swastima Khadka have added their dancing moves in this folksy rhythm song.

2) Kale Dai

Sung by Nishcal Basnet and Meena Niraula, it was an addictively breezy song of the year from cinema ‘Parva’. Music of Koshish Chhetri and the Dinesh Raut’s lyrics marked brilliantly haunting soundtrack among audience.

Nischal Basnet and Mala Limbu’s dance moves did pretty solid work in video and already accomplished over 2 crore 35 lakh views in YouTube. Kabiraj Gahatraj choreography was also notable attraction of the song.

3) Ye Daju Nasamau

Despite the most controversies, song from ‘Chakka Panja 2’ made to notable exception. Arranged by Almoda Rana Uprety for the lyrics of Prince and Deepak Raj Giri, it succeed over 2 crore 18 lakh views.

Almoda Rana Uprety and Sujata Verma sung the melodic piece with Price Nepali and Kanchha Magar Nepali compositions. The folksy rhythm features Swastima, Swaroop, Jitu, Kedar, and Barsha in dancing following the chirography of Kabiraj Gahatraj.

4) Rupai Mohani

Song featuring Dipak Raj Giri, Dipa Shree Niraula, Hari Bansha Acharya, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Paul Shah and Priyanka Karki captured more than 1 crore 51 lakh views by the time. Arrangement of Tanka Budhatoki has been around in music of Tanka Budathoki.

Tanka Budathoki and Meena Niraula made in vocal of the song, while lyrics were of Lokraj Adhikari. Dirgha Gurung came through brilliant choreography in this melodious captivating song. This gem song is from cinema ‘Shatru Gate’.

5) Bhanchhu Aaja

Featuring Sugam Pokhrel and Anju Pant in vocalist, it made through over 1 crore 45 lakh in YouTube views by far. Breaking the trend of Loksong, it stood first romantic song.

These two prominent singers sung the song with music work of Arjun Pokhrel. Sudarshan Thapa came with his best lyrics for this, and the song relied on Maharaj Thapa’s arrangement. It was a piece of hardwork from ‘Ma Yesto Geet Gaauchu’ cinema.

6) Timi Royeko Pal

The song was the second romantic song from actor Ramesh Upreti’s comeback cinema ‘Aishwarya’. It gracefully made to the crore views. It was one of the best songs sung from Sugam Pokhrel and Anju Panta together with team work of lyrics/music of Arjun Pokharel.

Ramesh Upreti and Dipika Prasai chemistry in the song was another best of the song. It bagged over 1 crore 45 lakh till the time. Tenju Yonjan and Anjeela Khatri are behind the camera choreographer.

7) Parkha Parkha Mayalu

Song prepared from the music/lyrics of Deepak Sharma was presented by cinema ‘Mangalam’. It also bagged 1 crore 39 lakh views. Krishna Kafle and Bindu Pariyar were in vocal of the song, whereas Narendra Biyogi in arrangement.

Shilpa Pokharel and Puspa Khadka were dancing lively with Kabiraj Gahatraj dance choreography.

8) Chari Chatta Pari

Actress Shweta Khadka comeback cinema ‘Kanchhi’ presents the song beautifully featuring dance of lead character Dayahang Rai and Shweta Khadka. Amazingly arranged by Rajan Ishan, the song is penned by lyrics of Rajan Raj Shiwakoti.

Siwakoti himself gave the music work, whereas vocal is helmed by Rajan Raj Shiwakoti and Anju Panta. Beautiful use of choreographer Basanta Shrestha succeed to over 1 crore 38 lakh views.

9) Kasham Ho

Song from ‘A Mero Hajur 2’ is grabbed by the reminiscing voice of singer Sugam Pokhrel. Magnificent lyrics of Krishna Hari Baral achieved 1 crore 26 lakh views in short time.

Kalyan Singh is a music person and arrangement of the song is of Uday Raj Poudel. Samragyee R L Shah and Salin Man Baniya are seen in the song making beautiful love chemistry leading the joint choreography of Kabiraj Gahatraj and Renesha Bantawa Rai.

10) I Am Sorry

Song starring Saugat Malla and Priyanka Karki is featured in cinema ‘Fateko Jutta’. More than 1 crore 24 lakh times have been viewed by audience.

Rajiv Samar choreography respectively follows the Pravesh Mallick’s lyrics, music and voice.

11) Kina Ajakal

Song featured in musical lovestory cinema ‘Ma Esto Geet Gaunchu’ is already viewed for over 1 crore times. It is one of the hit songs of the year by Arjun Pokhrel as in singer. The lyrics of Ambika Sharma are pretty heart melting, whereas singer Arjun Pokhrel’s music and arrangement is also a solid work.

Kabiraj Gahatraj is again in the choreography of the song. Pooja Sharma and Paul Shah are appearing in the song as a love couple.
